The Bagmati province in Nepal is home to the capital city, Kathmandu, known for its strong emphasis on accessibility and a widespread MUN culture. Recognizing the need to explore new territories with untapped potential, the team decided to transition to a different region. Chitwan emerged as the ideal choice due to its accessibility, enabling participation from all corners of Nepal, particularly Province 3.
With a history of hosting more than 5 MUNs, Chitwan Model United Nations has become a renowned center for such gatherings. Embracing the motto “Connect, Co-create, and Culture,” Youth Thinkers’ Society-Chitwan is dedicated to providing students outside the valley with affordable and accessible opportunities to engage in Model United Nations, fostering a collaborative and enriching environment for all participants.
Following the triumph of the sixth edition of CMUN in 2023, the seventh edition took place on February 8-10, serving as the third milestone on the Road to EIMUN 2024. This latest CMUN event was highly successful, highlighting the commitment, enthusiasm, and leadership of young individuals in promoting dialogue and comprehension of critical global matters.
