Youth talk session is a 2-hour long session that takes place before the official opening ceremony of EIMUN.  It is an integral part of EIMUN’s mission of nurturing the leaders of tomorrow. It provides a space for dialogue, inspiration, and knowledge-sharing; this event equips young individuals with the perspectives needed to address complex global issues. Each year, 2-3 key speakers are invited as per the theme of the session. In EIMUN 2022, three alumni Saugat Wagle, the coordinator at Sarwodaya Campaign; Prakriti Dhakal, a Public Health Advocate and Insiya Khan, Research Associate at BRAC Institute of Governance and Development (BIGD) were invited to share their MUN experiences, learnings, and the impact EIMUN had on their life beyond the conference. A total of at least 100 candidates besides EIMUN’s direct participants were also invited and involved.

Through live streaming and widespread media coverage, the session’s impact extends far beyond its physical boundaries, empowering and engaging a diverse audience worldwide. All in all, the Youth Talk Session serves as a platform for personal growth, fostering a sense of responsibility and empowerment among the youth to create positive change in their communities and beyond.
